During a Twitter conversation with @msrib and @brokebride2be (I love my wedding weekend buddies!), I realized I had forgotten about bathroom baskets for the reception. Then from Amazon.com I bought nylons for the women, and batteries for both (cameras, etc.). I’ll be buying baskets from AC Moore, and it’s already cost me $200! Jeesh. I did buy a third of some of those things for my own wedding-day emergency kit, and we can keep and use whatever’s leftover, like toothpicks, mints, and whatnot. Great idea, very convenient for guests, but NOT cheap.
